would you move out of your environment?

if you were a city folk would you move to a small town? and if you were a country (small town folk) would you move to the big city?

i know there are varying factors like age, work status etc...just asking in general

i don't think i'll ever move out of the city...it's just who i am...perhaps in my retirement years and things were right i could live summers in a small town.

well i might have to make that decision soon. it is way too expensive where i live with no end in sight to the rise in cost of living.

@beermeplease i know this is relative but my homeowners insurance went up to 5500 per year. an 800.00 increase. not to mention taxes. thankfully i own my home but what if i didn't. that is why i can't retire. i can't afford to

@akindheart that's crazy. at least you own your own home. i'm a renter and will never be able to buy a home around here...like you, i can't afford to retire. plus side of being a renter is if something breaks down i don't have to pay to get it fixed.

@beermeplease down here, my brother leases a storage unit to paint cars. the landlord is now refusing to fix the premises. His garage door broke. he has to pay to fix the 50 yr old door. no lie.

@akindheart that's awful. well if he ever moves to another storage unit he should break the door on his way out
