Oh so there it is.
Finally had to bring up the tummy hurting??
Let me tell you about a tummy ache.
I had this golf ball sized hernia in the center of my belly for like 30 years.
I finally got it taken care of Thursday.
They cut in from under my left arm just below the ribs and went all they way over to the center of my torso to repair it.
The surgery took three hours.
Now I feel like the doc spent 2 1/2 of those hours smashing me with a ball bat.
Can't lay in bed cuz it hurts to much.
Can't cough or laugh either.
The drugs they gave suck.
How does mine compare?? :-)

@Dainbramadge What kind of hernia? I've had inguinal hernia repair at age 2 and an umbilical hernia repaired last year. Did it at Methodist Hospital here in the twin cities. Doc does at least one a day. Had no pain. Mesh is working fine. Best thing I've ever done. The docs at Park Nicollet are horrible. They didn't want me to have the surgery and after the way they chopped up Kristin I wasn't going to let them go near me.

@Dainbramadge when you have to sneeze or cough hold a pillow against your stomach. It will help, trust me.

@Tastyfrzz It was a Ventral hernia. It was in the center of my torso about three inches from my solar plexus. It was about 1 1/2 inches tall and an 1 1/2 inches in dia. It was like a damn golf ball sticking out of my belly.
They had to cut in from my side to go in and mesh it.
They don't want me doing anything for the next six weeks.
Oh and I also had a little one in my belly button. LOL.

@iamonfire696 My roomy took my boys shopping for me this weekend and that is what they came home with. It does help but was no where in site for the sneeze. LOL

@Dainbramadge we鈥檒l make sure it鈥檚 close to you at all times because sneezing or coughing with a pillow after abdominal surgery is no fun at all.
