Thermal curtains

I just found out about these today... they apparently have a special lining and are made of heavier materials to keep cold out. My windows are really draughty so I'm thinking of getting a pair. Does anyone else have these, are they any good? Do they make a difference in keeping the room warm?

That does not work. Even if it traps the cold towards the window, the cold air drops to the floor. Nearly all thermodynamic related items you can buy are scams

@helsbels Yeah even then, the cold air will still cool your room. The only reason I would see for buying those is if you sit/sleep right next to the window and don't want cold air falling straight on you.
