Thermal curtains

I just found out about these today... they apparently have a special lining and are made of heavier materials to keep cold out. My windows are really draughty so I'm thinking of getting a pair. Does anyone else have these, are they any good? Do they make a difference in keeping the room warm?

I do, they do make a difference but secondary double glazing will be better for windows that are draughty, even the film stuff you tape up makes a huge difference.

@AntisocialTroll It's a rented flat, I'd love it to be double glazed but not able to unfortunately
