To all of you out there caring for someone.

Don't forget to care for yourself, too.

When preparing a special meal for someone, don't forget to eat something special yourself.

Try and get some time to yourself during the day, even if it's just sitting in the car reading a book, having a coffee at a favourite coffee shop or going for a run.

Try not to isolate yourself from people - meet a friend for a chat, go to church if that's your thing, phone a helpline.

Don't feel guilty if you feel tired, resentful, angry, wishing you could get in the car and not come back. We've all felt like that at times.

Don't feel guilty if you've put on a few pounds from comfort eating or your hair is a mess. You're doing well some days if you can just wake up in the morning and get on with things

But don't feel guilty if you decide to treat yourself to a haircut/new outfit/exercise bicycle. You deserve it 👍☺️♥️
