I used to actually enjoy stuff and be able to get excited about things.
LadyBronte · 56-60, F
@CestManan Me too. Now, all that is non existent.
CestManan · 46-50, F
@LadyBronte It kind of sucks cause like when we were young, we didn't really have the cash or freedom to do what we wanted.
Then we get older and no one is on our butts about how to live, we actually have a little money, but nothing sounds fun even. What the crap happened?
LadyBronte · 56-60, F
@CestManan I'm sure it is different for everyone, but I finally learned that being loved, respected and needed isn't in the cards for me. No more fighting against it but also no more looking forward to much either.

@LadyBronte Try not to forget though that over a certain age, maybe 40, having a partner means having someone trying to run your life.
LadyBronte · 56-60, F
@CestManan Nah. At this age, it would be someone to share life with. But even that is denied me. *shrug*
CestManan · 46-50, F
@LadyBronte A lot of people on here have been saying that a lot.
Men, women, younger, older...

I wish I had some kind of advice but I am no expert on things.
LadyBronte · 56-60, F
@CestManan Nor am I. I just do the best I can to get through the day.
CestManan · 46-50, F
@LadyBronte I do think if someone really wants to be in a relationship, they can find one.

In my case, I have a "unique" situation that makes dating weird. I do not need nor want one though because I like freedom.
LadyBronte · 56-60, F
@CestManan Without trust , there is no basis for a relationship. My trust button has been irreparably damaged. So it will be just me walking alone from now on.
CestManan · 46-50, F
@LadyBronte Plus it seems like a lot of single folks are still hung up on some ex and they want to try again for the umpteenth time.
@CestManan You don't get excited anymore? A rumour is going around about that, ya know... with age, and things, anticipation keeps just going down some. Doesn't have to ring true though, you can rage, rage, rage, against the dying of the light you know ❣️
