It's online and therefore nobody but you can see it. Oh wait on, that's not actually true because you can Google your username and it pops up in the results!
@VirginMatchmaker You're good if your username is the last thing anyone would think of looking for you under... 🤭
VirginMatchmaker · 46-50, M
@HootyTheNightOwl very true. It's why I don't go back to my original name lol.
@VirginMatchmaker It's also a smaller reason why my former name had to fly the nest...
VirginMatchmaker · 46-50, M
@HootyTheNightOwl tbh I preferred my old name but too many people knew it, why it existed and I miss it. Wish I could bring it back because actually with my current name it's obvious where I am from. Although not so obvious about where I live lol.
@VirginMatchmaker That's something I like about your current name, people assume that you live somewhere when we know that you live somewhere else.
Maybe you could go with a username that reflects your love of photography, though... perhaps something like "TheFinalEdit" - that would remove that part of you out of your username, but still reflect on a part of you.

@HootyTheNightOwl yeah that's very true, although if they're reading this they'll now know lol.
I do love my photography but haven't taken anything in at least a few weeks. I have other loves though too. TheFinalEdit is a good username though.

@VirginMatchmaker Aside from coins, I haven't taken anything in at least 4 years.
I need a new SD card and probably some more batteries by now...

@HootyTheNightOwl Do you not have a phone you can pictures with?
How just taking pictures of what you see in everyday life. I've numerous ones just from my bedroom window when the sun is setting as it's regularly amazing.

@VirginMatchmaker My phone is crapping out... battery is bad, screen is cracked in three places and it's being awkward to charge. Only one cable works now - and that belongs to soon to be ex.
There's not much to see here... I have to keep the curtains closed because of the local undesirables looking in - but, even if that wasn't the case, there's a wall of 12ft trees out back... and the building where I was sexually abused at the age of 15.
They knocked my school down... but not the part where I was hurt the most.

@HootyTheNightOwl sorry to hear that about your phone. Can your soon to be ex not buy you a new one? I thought I was having a rough time with mine needing to be charged more and more. I'm waiting for the Pixel 6 Pro to come out before upgrading from my Pixel 4.
Oh that's horrific having that sort of memory close by. Maybe try taking pictures of things in your house, like a cup of tea or stuff like that?
Sorry life is shit.

@VirginMatchmaker He could... but he won't... I have been asking for months. To make matters worse, I suck at picking my own phones these days - too much choice, and I don't do choice.
My mother doesn't get why I would rather have the curtains closed than look out at that... even when the addicts walking round the back are on a reduced day. I only accepted this place because it was ground floor and we'd already had a run in with a fire that told me that we wouldn't be so lucky at getting out next time. Soon to be ex was diagnosed with asthma after that. It was supposed to be temporary until they offered us a bungalow - only, now, they're still being as awkward as they always were... despite the fact that this is not "disabled friendly" accommodation.
There's no way I can get soon to be ex out of the door in his wheelchair because there's a cupboard opposite the front door.
I do sometimes take pictures of my drinks and share them here - I'm just not that big on the editing side to make them look more interesting. My approach is more "snap and share".

@HootyTheNightOwl the reason I'm aiming for the Pixel 6 Pro is that the camera is supposed to be very good. As they've always been in the Pixels, plus I don't want to have to go to a trendy iPhone.
Why doesn't your mum understand your point of view? She does know about your past doesn't she?
Sounds like the council have been shitty with you for a while.
Can you not get somebody to move it?
Fair enough. I know the editing suites on most phone's are pretty good. Although I use Snapseed as well as the phone edits and sometimes an Adobe editor too. But if you're struggling then use the SnapChat edits because they'll definitely change it up.

@VirginMatchmaker Honestly... I don't think that there's that much difference between phone cameras today - it's not as noticeable as it once was.
Sure, she knows, she insisted on her and "dad" watching from downstairs as I gave evidence in the police house. And they were both there as the police gynaecologist hurt me, too.
No, there's no moving it - it's an old 60's bin cupboard that was built as part of our property. There's another one on the other side of it... that one contains the gas meter for the property upstairs. Ideally, they both need knocking down to give more disabled access to the ground floor properties and the toilets need raising. They've been told that the toilets are too low to qualify for being in properties marketed to disabled people by social services.

@HootyTheNightOwl there's definitely not too much in them depending the range of phone you have. A top end Pixel is similar to a iPhone or Samsung.
Jeez both there and still didn't care enough. I'm sorry you went through that.
Sounds like the council need to get their fingers out and actually do the rebuilding and adapting. Is there anyone you can complain too?
