I'm a Hippie Girl

Already in my school times I was called hippie girl because I went barefoot, rarely showered and didn't shave me. It wasn't that I decided me to become a hippie, it was always the others who called me that, mostly to tease me. But I quickly realized that this term fits to me. Yes, I was a hippie girl, I'm be it still today. And I'm proud of that.

To be a hippie means for me not to cosplay the 60s/70s, but to be close with our nature, to question all the restrictions and norms of this society and just have your own mind.

While the other girls at my school began getting dolled up and going to parties, I preferred to hike through the woods and enjoy the nature. I never used make-up or wore expensive brand-name clothes. I haven't tried to conform me to the expectations of others, or let myself be forced into social conventions that're pointless and superfluous for me.

I'm just me. A grubby hippie chick, so what?

You are very carefree and that is awesome. The best way to be.Well done you.
At high school in summer I wore short shorts and left my feet bare.I got a lot of compliments about how beautiful my feet are.I did go to parties, shaved, wore makeup, always had very long nails, had a nice dark suntan. I only ever had one bad comment. From this 17 year old guy when I was 14,he asked if I was pregnant as well.We ended up having a fight in the gym behind the seats during a basketball game.I had a black belt in karate and was very tall and strong. Our friends witnessed me hand him his ass, finishing him off by squeezing his ribs so hard between my thighs that 2 of his ribs broke loudly as he lost consciousness from not being able to breathe. My legs got called backbreakers after that.

Hehe. 😁 Cool, that you fought with him. I had several fights against other boys during my school years too. I couldn't karate, but I was a quite tomboy and liked also to wrestle.

@ChildOfNature it's good that you stood up for yourself.I had fights against both boys and girls at school.I won all of them.I started to learn wrestling aged 16 and began training in karate aged 10.Now I train in MMA and Krav Magra too.
Is your Avi photo of your bare feet?

Wow, that's awesome!

I won most of the fights too. But sometimes I had to take a beating and end up with a black eye or a bloody nose.

And yes, that're my feet.

@ChildOfNature Wow you're feet look super tough and strong.
Last year when I was preparing for my 4th dan karate black belt grading I barefoot ran 8 miles a day on sidewalks and then the wooded area behind my home followed by practicing my techniques including kicking tree trunks.A lot of trees had their barks broken off and their wood damaged from my strong kicking
On my first date with my boyfriend I went barefooted, wearing tiny short shorts to show off my 46 inch legs.He was very impressed.

Thanks. Yeah, my feet are very strong and tough. I go now already since years only barefoot and love to hike long routes through woods, fields and even mountain grounds. No matter whether edged gravel, hot asphalt or even cold frozen ground. I don't mind at all. My feet are super hardened.

Running always barefoot is definitively also a good and effective measure to steel the body for fighting.
