@SweetMae You would be surprised at what kind of snakes people are keeping in their homes for pets. I have heard of two Gaboon vipers escaping in southern states. The Gaboon viper is not all that aggressive but they have huge fans and a squat body and if you accidentally step on them you might as well kiss your butt goodbye. I don’t think Gaboon viper venom is very easy to come by in the USA.

@SweetMae wild ones? Yikes. The Gaboon viper always scared me the most in the zoo when I’d go through the reptile building.
