I get it where you are coming from... at least in work life situation. It's fairly common political place ya know, people have favorites, and treat others to show off or they are just letting thier personal issues on you, just like how people let their anger off about something unrelated to upon someone else. But in my experience, it's mostly work pressure and reputation related.

Your aren't sensitive or reacting wrong. It's normal in a sense..You ain't weak either. My advice, Keep it simple talk less silence is a key, then show that you are unaffected. Don't feed them a feedback which boost thier ego to affect you. Such People when you do that will find themselves feel troubled trying to crack the new you.
