I Often Look Up At The Sky
by: Rob Paquin
Upon a bed of clouds
That comforter. Those pillows.
I wish that I could rest my head,
Above the Weeping Willows.
To float away on clouds of white.
To rest forever inside that cushion.
Never to feel; Again betrayed.
One step below the heavens.
To let go of all the pain.
To rest my weary mind
To stare up at the blazing sun,
Until I just go blind.
To sail along, carried by the breeze,
Upon those silky clouds.
To disappear beyond the fray.
But I fear; I know not how…
