This is a long amswer, please forgive me.
I went the opposite a bit. I didnt take this serious when I joined, people are brave behind a keyboard. And yeah, Ive been called names here which really doesnt bother me.
However what I did start taking a bit to seriously is when I wanted to correct an opinion on something- sadly politics (rookie mistake) and I found myself overloading the discussion.
Caught myself, and reset. Most of the time I just ignore the conversation all together. So yeah, Im getting back to not caring as much - mercifully.
I do like walking someone through an issue, or new part of their lives they never dared to go before. Especially if I have! I tend to look a bit down the road and that serves me well. I just (once again) have to stop from pushing too much and let them do the work, if any of that makes sense.

@Rilyn No, its ok actually. Ill take lessons where I can, like a reminder to ignore politics, religion, covid status...things I never discuss with neighbors. People that attack me have zero idea who I am, and probably wouldn't call me names if they saw me in real life lol. It actually says more about their fragile egos.
Every so often though there is that person you click with. Its a rare for me, but it happens.
Talking people through things is actually a bit rewarding mostly. It helps that Im a non judgy stranger.
Yeah, people suck sometimes. Some need to be brave here to make up for their miserable existence.
