What do you do when your anxiety is so bad you dont do important things?

I finally gave in and decided to give medication a go because i was lets just say "dangerously depressed" this depression went on for about six months

I have bipolar depression, ptsd, and ocd

My depression and cycling moods has gone away entirely. However now that i am no longer struggling with depression and energy i am now experiencing the intensity of my anxiety.

It is so bad sometimes that i miss appointments or phone calls or dont leave the house. I was actually going to mention that to my psych but i actually missed the appointment. I also missed a bloodwork appointment and another doctor's appointment

My family gets frustrated with me because they dont understand why i cant just do this or go here or make this phone call.

Its very frustrating. Does anyone have any tips or suggestions to combat anxiety?

Hugs. I completely understand. Anxiety has me pinned down most days. My one tactic is to try to do one thing each day. One phone call/appointment or whatever so that I am still accomplishing my goals without trying to put everything on me all at once. I try to slow things way down otherwise I will just hide and cry the day away.
