Voice commands are a wonderful thing if the device can understand you. I'm never understood.
I tried with my tv remote speaking as clear as I could. Didn't work right. I tried louder and clear. No. I give up.

Alexa and I are barely on speaking terms.
Siri has grown to know me, but only to turn lights on and off. I think I found my commanding voice with her. in that instance anyhow.
My remote. if I wait about 5 seconds after I pushed the button, talk slowly, loudly ( for me) and enunciate, it hears me. eventually.

I suffer the same problem because apparently calibrating voice recognition devices for Northern Irish accents is a step too far for technology
