The thing is, we are all time creatures. We live in our special place, a body, and it moves through time, we are born, we age, we die.
Once you die, you are no longer time based, the body means nothing. You are free from time. What you are remains a mystery since time has no meaning to you anymore, so all of those relatives that are still time based exist in a different plain. Impossible for you to interact.
All of that assuming you don't just end completely, that would also be the end of your time.
