@WowwGirl I just looked them up, and apparently, they can be wind-driven onto your skin. Some folks are more susceptible to their bites than others. You might be allergic. Here the chiggers will eat alive.
@WowwGirl The docs said if they are in the area , and its windy, you will get them on you. If you walk around under the oaks, its just a given. I wonder if IVY Block or tick repellent would keep them from biting you
