I Am Upset

I had my mom check her blood pressure, since I had taken mine.
Her pressure read 204/123.

I immediate got upset and asked if she'd bee taken her blood pressure medicine.
She said she'd been out about a week.
I asked why...'because I'm out of refills, i have to see the doc and pay a co-pay just for pills".

But you can have a heart attack not taking blood pressure pills!!

My sister is 35 and has had 2 heart attacks for that very reason😤

I know for me to get refills all I have to do is call the doctors office and they called in to the pharmacy

@mrbuddhawannabe yea, I think she might be mistaken. I do work at the clinic and they aren't allowing med refills for folks who haven't see the doc in a year. But she has been to the doc in a year so she should be able to just get a refill.
