I Am Feeling Upset

There are times he is very sweet and affectionate, other times he is not. And it drives me insane. I don't want to tell him, hey why did you stop being sweet, and look stupid. So, I just keep it to myself.

If you think he's going to see you as stupid for talking about how you feel, the relationship is unbalanced in terms of power.
