I think a lot of us get curious also because we think, "What if my own house eventually needs that?"

@Wolf38g No, I've had leaking by a chimney at both a residential home and a church.

Many persons seem unfamiliar with proper step flashing, crickets, saddles, even valleys. I was one of those people until I fixed my father's roof and installed my own.
