I Stress About Stress Before There Is Stress To Stress About

So, I am practically a full-time student, work over 20 hours a week, and on the other days, I go to church. My friends don't understand why I am stressed. They just say "manage your time better. It's not hard." And it pisses me off. I need down time, too. Do I have a right to be a little pissed about that? Sorry this isn't really a story, I'm just honestly looking for an honest answer.

If your studies have a good chance of leading to a reasonably well paid job, I would suggest considering reducing your work hours, or leaving the job entirely - if you are to access debt to cover your expenses. A higher paid qualified job in the future, combined with holiday work, could clear this debt relatively quickly, and save your sanity. I realize though that this debt may add to your stress. I wish you well.
@NudasPriest Thanks for the advice! I just got the job, though.

Ah, tricky. If you've just added this 20 hours on top of your previous routine, then yeah, it will be stressful, but it will be worse at the start. Things may well 'shake down' and find a new equilibrium. New jobs are always worse at the start too, until you 'learn the ropes'.
@NudasPriest I suppose that's true.

Hopefully it is, but unfortunately you'll just have to wait and see. Hang in there!
