My purpose here
I am here to say what I'm aware of as to my presence here on SW.
I am isolating all my topics of utterance to the triple interest rainbow of reading, music and films.
But with the odd mention of irl stuff, which compared to even other hermits may be very rudimentary and not worthy to mention.
Reading is taking the largest amount of utterance.
In reading the scope and scale is likened unto the whole universe. The material there dwarfing both music and films put together.
Literature as only dwarfed by Life itself, I make a choice for myself to enthrone Literature instead of Life.
I am the living dead.
For reading, is including audiobooks. Now I understand the view of it being somewhat less lofty than actual reading, I wish however to make a strong case for the format that lets you hear the story, or whatever it is.
Within the audiobook format is a whole bunch of stuff that isn't actually an audiobook, as in the reading from a book, but are at times focused on performance.
Performance of an audio only nature hearkens back to previous times in our industrious past, from antiquity when tales myths and whatnot were related vocally, to not too long ago when a family would gather around the radio for their entertainment and news, before the advent of the television, there is much nostalgia in old time radio, playing some for dad a couple months ago brought pleasant memories back for him, the old westerns and comedies, and Lecture series, those can be so good too, like from a learning facility, you can get the kind of education that used to only be available for those who actually went to University and College.
It's subdued though of course, when you actually go to places of Learning, you also can discuss the material being learnt and that can give a more full bodied education.
Which is why for me I am flapping my gums so much, I am doing this not just because I love to type and think out loud, but to add another dimension to the learning.
I have a learning disability btw, and the best way to learn is as clear to me as during a power outage in the middle of the night with no candles or matches.
I experiment, and over time I feel I have a few approaches that seem promising, hence why my enthusiasm gets the better of me at times.
I wish my activity on SW to be non-threatening and non-annoying to others first of all, and out of the few who aren't bothered, I then wish for some if any to discover books, music or films that will become their own treasures.
