is there anything wrong with being a 'recluse'

i am a reclusive figure,i like to stay indoors and seclude myself from people, i rarely go out and only when i have to, so i'm a recluse but then at times i get lonely....because i would like a special person in my life, a nice chick.....but then i'm in my late 40s and have mental health challenges.

so what do you think?

I don't think your age or mental health is so much the issue as is the reclusivity, unless the other you're hoping for is also a recluse.
Which in itself creates a dilemma - if you dont get out, you dont meet people to get close to, to bond with to become someones special someone.
