@matthewjames Have you ever tried it?
matthewjames · 18-21, M
@ChristinaNks no um I dont know what it is :)

I wish I had had a mentor, growing up. No guidance at all. I think a life coach is an excellent idea. I think they're better than a psychologist because psychologists don't really give you answers. They're really there to ask you questions so that you can reflect and learn from your own deductions.
Jesus is my life coach. He's all I need and he's available 24/7. 😃
@LadyGrace Some still need community and agreement especially those lacking in training.
@ChristinaNks Yes, God does work through good doctors, as well. Feedback and wisdom make for a good recovery.

Best life coach I've ever had was a licensed psychologist.

I'd probably look to see a counsellor or psychotherapist myself rather than a life coach.

@Muthafukajones Hmmm. on the flip side of that, if he's not already doing those things because he enjoys them why do them to ensnare a women just to revert back to the same behaviors prior to dating? Unless, your advise is to help improve his overall well being and health? It's easy to meet people when we're already enjoying life 😊

@ChristinaNks He isn’t enjoying his life. The problem is that he is depressed from so many years of working and a lack of companionship. He has low self esteem and he’s becoming hopeless in his own life. Can you see that almost all my suggestions require almost no effort and yet he still won’t do any of them.
@Muthafukajones Maybe instead of suggestions physical movement, suggest mental or emotional movement? He just needs to catch a vision, to see himself moving, he needs to believe he can do it regardless of how he feels. A small step found anywhere can produce another small step. Sometimes it's more important to focus on what's going on inside than demanding something on the outside. Of course, a short stroll always does the whole body good.
