I think we all do that at times. It's okay to feel nostalgic. It doesn't necessarily mean anything is wrong. It can be comforting to reflect. Nostalgia isn’t always about the past—it can be about what you’re needing right now. If you’re longing for peace, belonging, or joy, your mind may revisit times when you felt those things.
Sometimes nostalgia shows up because there’s something in your past that still carries meaning—love, loss, identity, or even healing that hasn’t fully happened yet.
Nostalgia can actually be a signal—not something random, but something saying: “This mattered to you.”
It doesn’t always mean you want to go back. Sometimes it just means your heart is remembering what was meaningful, so you can carry that forward.
