Two nights ago was the first time in probably over 10 years since I watched an Indian soap/drama with the family

We grew up watching these together. We only watched this one because it came back after 25 years and is definitely the biggest one to exist. It's like the EastEnders of desi soaps. (EastEnders is a huge British soap)

The nostalgia was so warm and fuzzy, I felt like 5-10 year old me again. I didn't even realise how much of a family affair it was to watch these everyday of the week. Everyday after school i'd watch these and my disney shows lol. There's not many things I watched with my parents so it felt nice to watch it with them too.

By the third episode everyone was crying lmao. Some of these storylines hit close to home. Even my brother looked sad. He later told me he doesn't wanna watch it because he'll know he'll get invested and it makes him emotional. Boy stfu and cry with us. There's nothing wrong with it.
Some parts were still easy to laugh at because of the cheesiness of it all but that's to be expected. We all equally love and mock these shows lmao.
