Looks like everyone is adding games

So a long while ago, Yahoo had games like Tri-peaks and Pyramid. Not sure what the other games were, but it would give a list of every person who played. There was only one time I got on the high score board for tri-peaks. Anyway... at some point Yahoo got rid of the games, and now they brought them back, but it's different games and they're all by Masque.

Today I was on the AOL website, and saw the same games as I see on Yahoo, with a couple new ones I haven't yet seen before. At the bottom of the page I see, Yahoo Inc. I said to myself, since when does Yahoo own AOL??? I just looked it up, apparently they merged in 2017 under Oath.

I was thinking if I want to pay the $6.99 for the AOL Desktop Gold subscription. It's a free trial for 30 days. I used to use AOL waaaaaayyyyyy back in the day when I had dial-up but now we're all on cable internet. I dunno, what do you think? Is AOL Desktop Gold worth it?

I guess I'm feeling very nostalgic today lol.

@Picklebobble2 Yeah I did that a while ago, but I think it was just the regular AOL Desktop. They got rid of that and now they're only offering AOL Gold Desktop with that 30 day free trial. Eh I think I'll give it a go anyway. Thanks!!

@Picklebobble2 AOL Desktop Gold isn't worth it. If you have a web browser, IE: Firefox, Chrome, Edge, and can access www.aol.com, then you don't need AOL Desktop Gold. It's literally the same thing as the website. And because I use Yahoo for email, AOL email looks and functions exactly the same, because the two companies have merged under Oath. So if you have Yahoo, you have AOL, and if you have AOL, you have Yahoo. As far as the look and function of email.

The AOL main website is set up way different than on Yahoo, but the games are the same on both websites. I didn't see anything that stuck out to me that said it's worth it for AOL Desktop Gold. $6.99 a month is a steal, but if I can already access the website then I'll just continue with that. Right at the end of the cancel screen it gives an offer for 2 months free, but I just didn't see any value in the product.
