Screen doors that slam. That little detail evokes so much.

@RenFur I’d love to have a screen door again. Have a glass storm door with a window that slides up. And entire screened door lets a breeze pull through the home to catch the cool air in early morning. I miss that.

Oh, woman... when I was a kid laying in bed on a Spring or Summer saturday morn with the window open, I could tell which other member of the household had left or entered the back enclosed porch by the way each opened and closed the wooden screen door. The sounds were all different and unique to each person.

@RenFur And someone yelling not to slam the door and the screen door gets slammed anyway.

@RenFur Haaa...not all screen doors slam. Some just sag instead, once a 3 year old discovers how to ride it :)

@Heartlander oh boy we never did that. But I think I swung a few times on a regular door till I got caught.
