I Have Nostalgia For The Past

It’s too bad real life isn’t more like a late-60s/early-70s sitcom - like the Brady Bunch. The early 70s were a great time. I was a little girl. Life was simpler. There were more reasons for optimism. All week I’ve been thinking about my early childhood, and thinking maybe that really was the best part of my life.

When adulthood has you in a stranglehold most of us like to escape to those time when we felt safe and cared for. We didn't make any decisions. No social media and we actually talked eye to eye, to the people we considered friends.
