I had a nightmare
I dreamt that the New Hackett Aristotle series which I feverishly added all but one last night, which are ideal for getting to know the great Greek thinker had suddenly became bad, and unreliable.
I was so relieved when I woke up though, the good thing about it is that there's just one translator for it all, which will be giving the same terms and stuff all the way through, when you use different translations for a body of work of a thinker you'll often get different terms for the same ancient Greek words, and there's plenty of notes and comprehensive introductions.
In other news brother is using my Blu-ray sales to pay for my glasses he ordered for me, and we shall be going over to see dad on the 28th, close to my b-day and we'll do something for that I guess, maybe a restaurant in the small city he's in and I'd want to bring home as much of that yummy food as possible.
But the readings, there is so much of it, I may be also fitting in some key thinkers from the modern period, so we're talking some Descartes, Hume, Kant and Hegel, using as many helpful resources as possible, and there are good resources that will make it possible, the thing is will I make the most of it all? I will be doing things my own way with all the things i'm personally factoring in, for example my chosen Professor says to leave the secondary literature for later for most of the thinkers, but for me time is short, I shall be making use of EVERYTHING in a grand vortex that will swallow up all my thinking faculties, so nightmares are just the tip of the iceberg!!
