You are painfully right. The other person doesn't even deserve any time or thoughts spent on them, but our brains are a powerful thing. I want to pull away, but the wanting and being able to are two different things. I feel so very strongly, and sadly none of that is by choice. Perhaps one day, I'll look back on this all and I'll laugh without remorse. Life is one big Vegas gamble after all. Anything can happen.
