OverTheHill · 56-60, M
I lost both my Dad and Mom within a few days of each other in October 2020. Many things I miss about them, and do think of them this time of the year.
@OverTheHill Same. Only I lost my mother 6 months before my father then passed away, two days before Thanksgiving in 1998.

@OverTheHill Your loss touches my heart! There is no deeeper pain.
We can only live on and make them proud of us. I'm so sorry, for your loss. ❤️
@Oster1

Thank you sweetheart. That is so true. I can't wait to see them again and thank them for everything they did for me and my sister. I feel bad that I didn't appreciate it so much at the time, but I think a lot of people are like that until they get older and go through those things themselves and then they can really appreciate what their parents did for them.
