Do you miss any former co-workers?

I just had a flash back to a co-worker, whom was basically the definition of innocent, helpful and laid back... and I miss him.

We once saw him going into someone else bag muliple times taking stuff out at least once (and normally we'd suspect stealing, but literally, someone finally yelled, what the hell are you doing? I would think stealing, but it's you...

And as it turned out the manipulative (lazy, but generally nice) female co-worker kept asking him to go put stuff in her bag or take it out. (Gim and other stuff, etc).

And we literally had to try to teach him (so he'd stay out of trouble) to stop being so nice... and stop letting people walk over him, because he'd literally do just about anything to help, even lean money when he knew he probably wasn't ever getting it back.

But that guy was really a great guy. Miss him, you could always count on him (though he might run 5 minutes late) but he would always show up and help when he could.

A few. One who decided to leave the company instead of taking a different role when we both got let go a year ago. We had worked together for a decade and a half. Basically grew into adulthood together, been through marriage, births, miscarriages, kids graduations, divorce together. She was my work ride or die and I miss her a ton.

I also miss another coworker who died on us a decade ago. She was such a nice person. A colleague just brought her name up the other day.
