I'm not sure if I'm still in love or if I just miss having him around.

Its been such a long time but I miss waking up with him and having him around me. I can still remember how he smells and how it felt touching each other.

I haven't been able to replicate that with anyone since.

I used to work in the military, it still turns up in my dreams come to think of it I think I've just past the 10th anniversary of leaving. I look back fondly but I remember the good times, it had become an unbearable hell which I hung onto for way too long before leaving.
I think this analogy may apply here.
