I can’t stop thinking about him.

But I know it’s only because I’m lonely and he was the only person I ever met that loved me for who I was.

It’s futile. He’s dead. But I miss him like he’s still touchable.

In my world my only Dad has had that effect.
I still anticipated his daily 6:30pm calls for years.
His pertinent statements or questions matching whatever situation pop up in my mind to this day.

"Well, what do You think?"
"Not too much is worth hurrying up for."
"it just wasn't meant to happen, nothing changes that."
