this is always happening, but another funny thing is that when love feelings developed they just vanish.
tryingtobeOK · 36-40, F
It's the most painful thing to feel. 😢@zorroo
zorroo · 56-60, M

Thanks for BC.

Breaks your heart as it slowly dawns on you.
SolGryn · 31-35, M
Yes. It was a painful experience
Once. A rebellious teenage son. He eventually evolved back to normal. But it took years. Shook my family to its core. I don’t wish that on anyone.

Yup, all you can do is accept that wish them well on their journey.

Yes, at which time I realized that I didn't really know her at all, and just saw what I wanted to see.
PhilDeep · 51-55, M
Sadly, yes; and it calls for a distancing in relating, I find.
SteelHands · 61-69, M
A substantial price for taking the risk and not getting it right.
Keepitsimple · 51-55, F
Yes. Or maybe we didn’t really know them after all.

Yes, I have. A childhood friend. Used to be one of the kindest and most gentle people in the world. Would even embarrass me in front of her other friends by randomly hugging me and saying she loves me. Now, that person she was no longer exists because she's completely lost her marbles and turned into a crazy person.

Sadly, yes. But red flags were there...
nowic2 · 61-69, M
Yes, it's sad, not one "No" answer.
