I Miss Someone Very Much

I never got to say goodbye to that person, they were here one day, and life took them the next, I never got to say how much they meant to me, I never got to talk to them one last time. On their funeral all I could do was look down at the casket and whisper “I love you” over and over again, but if I learned anything from that day, is that no matter how much you want to, you can’t love a person back to life.
