Crazy Times

I have been evaluating my life the past several months since getting off of Clonazepam and Lexapro. I have what is called a protracted withdrawal injury which means you have to go through withdrawal hell for several months and maybe even a year or more.

Insane anxiety, depression, digestive issues, nerve pain, hypersensitivity to light and sound. And I guess I have had it with the mental health industry because they have been diagnosing me with all these different things since I was 13, but the majority of my anxiety and just general difficulties with doing life is probably due to being on the spectrum.

See, I didn't know it was normal to feel burned out for several days after one normal day of socializing, And I thought everyone did these autopilot responses. I'm exhausted from the whole thing and wish I could just get a diagnosis because I'm pretty sure I have high functioning autism.

You really should have weaned yourself off those meds. I can't imagine what you must feel like; withdrawal wise. Not to mention how disruptive it is on your body/overall health; including mental health . Plus you could very well have anxiety disorder despite what "everyone else" goes through.

And I commend you for wanting to give up unnecessary meds, but I hope it's because you feel you don't need them, and not because some therapist compared you to others and said you didn't need them.

Have you begun testing for Autism or at least headed in the right direction?
don't take medication

doctors are only necessary if you want to receive social benefits

if there is a park or forest nearby go for a walk or a run

also start with light exercises to stretch your joints

you should do this every day

you will feel the improvement in a few months
