The harmonics are just damn !!

The climbing oh the " absolutely...wet".

"It's raining men" ..With the horns accentuating that "MEN"....PAM! ..

HALLELUJAH..

The tension of that C7 as it drops into the F during the pre chorus.
The disco bass line, you have to be deaf not to move to that.

The big anthem gospel sound.

I think it's awesome!

Oh that and "shake it off" ( but I would never admit to that)

I actually feel quite honored to be talking to a real 80s b-boy.
I love to watch docs on the origins of house music and hip hop.
And in every one of those shows there are the quintessential corner cardboard break dancers... The battles ...and the boom boxes..

Dude I remember me on skates with a boom box on my shoulder thinking I looked super cool😀😀😀

I remember watching a VHS video once about breakdancing..
I don't remember a lot but for some reason I never forgot the top rock, down rock and the FREEZE at the end😊

I had to think a little bit to think of one I might label as a guilty pleasure. Find one that might possibly be labeled a little naughty out of the songs I like. I also love Sweet Caroline and Centerfield, but nobody would call them naughty. There's Hallelujah, the Shrek version! Love that, too.
