@PDXNative1986 The war on women is very old. I appreciate that you see this, it's refreshing to see males that are somewhat aware of what women go through.

I said damsel but it is equally addressed to men.

First, we dream... until we are awaken by life. My message is - Just because you haven't met "the one" doesn't mean you are hopeless. "The one" is you. You shape "the one" within you. If life permits, you meet another "one" to share your journey together.

But if, by chance, you do not meet another to bond with in this life, it does not devalue the beauty and glory of your heart. Make yourself a good company to yourself. Whatever else happens between you and others is just details... your reaction to what happens is your mirror. You can't look at yourself properly without seeing your lights and shadows.

When you embrace all of you, only then you can think clearly and make a real, meaningful change.

When you have to walk alone.... take it as a meditative stroll to bond with your own soul.... in strengthening your own trust in yourself... you will invite similar people to your life. You become strong... And the past is just scars that taught you valuable lessons.

Scars are something to be proud of - you survived! :)

@PDXNative1986 Correction: I just saw you are a man xD Either way, man or woman - both have so much potential! Women just sometimes achieve things slowly because they often have the kids to look after as well... But so many women make their goals a reality despite challenges! Men aren't having it that easy either... Men and Women should combine their efforts in making this world more livable!

@Busybee333 The more things change busy the more they stay how they were in this country. Women are taking over, doesn't seem to count for much yet though. Roe Vs wade still got overturned, women's rights are still on the decline.

Still horrifying stories of women dyiing to ectopic pregnacies or having theri abortions delayed horribly even in the event of one. lots of horror stories. and that's despite all of the progress.

@PDXNative1986 Then, many just people, like you, have to step in and take important positions that can actually make concrete changes to improve the justice in this world.

@Busybee333 Way ahead of you. I did my part to keep it legal here in oregon but there are limits on how much I can do. locally? yeah. it's in my court but nationally there's not a lot I can do a bout the bigger picture. I've always been a feminist I jsut turned into a hellraiser in later life who was vvery vocal about it. first I watched then I raised my voice in anger.

Every little action counts - if more people are inspired to take little (important) actions within their communities, the world will shift so fast! Courage!
