I Admire Courage and Strengh
You know the quote - “Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened." Matthew 7:7-11
It works.
I've been holding back from seeing friends. It's odd that when you cut yourself from social media, no one really asks how you're doing. But then it just feels happier to connect with people, even if you have to do the reaching out part.
Maybe one day, I'll find people who'll ask the questions I hope someone would ask of me. But while they aren't here yet, doing the asking isn't so bad, not when I get to do things I want to do to feel alive and thankful.
So the moral is just this. Asking takes courage. Do it anyway. Because if you don't, then you're letting yourself miss out on what could be something fun. Maybe something great or the beginning of something worth the while.
