Unless you intentionally reveal your identity, everyone is stranger to you here. So it still can be a secret from your real life.

If it eases you out, I guess it's worth venting it out. You may prefer to DM any/few here, whom you consider sensible enough to not judge you.

A secret is only a secret if it isn't told, to strangers or people you know. If it's something you think would cause issue if someone you knew found out, then you should probably keep it between you and whoever else already knows

Many people have expressions they need out, they don't trust with those they are closest with. Maybe they can never have them know them? I can't surmise their reasons, or if they should ask themselves if it's worth talking about, only they can.
