I told my ex I was going to Houston for a job interview but was actually meeting someone I was involved with in a different state. My ex and I were broken up at the time but still talking. I did lie when he wanted to know where I was. I never came clean about it and no one knew.

@StraCat there was some guilt I don't like lying. I should have just told him it was none of his business at the time but he was in a bad place and I didn't want to make things worse. In hindsight I shouldn't have lied
