I Have a Confession

Hubby has been gone for several nights now. I do miss him but I have to admit, this isn't so bad at all. I'm kinda of enjoying doing my own thing. Not cooking dinner, staying up late, goofing off with my bffs, having alone time and just making me happy. God, I hope I don't get too used to this. My wifely duties will resume as soon as he gets back! I didn't realize how much of my time revolved around making him happy. I think this is a much needed break.

@BentNeverBroken: My wife has a couple of weeks away every year, which is definitely good for both of us - she gets to hang out with her bffs in London, I get to mooch around the house playing music too loud & being selfindulgent. But we've both found 2 weeks is about as much as either of us want before we start missing the other too much.
