I Have a Confession
When you've faced things and survived things mostly by yourself, it kinda gets difficult to sympathize with people who gives up easily or who doesn't try hard to change things.
I know we're all different and we handle things differently. But when I've been fighting with my emotions and weaknesses just so I could keep going with a smile, I kinda wanna roll my eyes when people complain about things that they can easily change if only they choose to be more active or get just a tiny bit of courage.
It's hard to sympathize and lend a hand...when I had to climb up with only myself to trust.
Of course, there's God. He's amazing. Hands up in praise. But when it comes to people, there was hardly one who can truly understand when I was at my darkest. I did it anyway. It took me years. But I did it and now I even have people depending on me.
