I Have a Confession

I have to confess....today I argued with someone for the first time on EP. We literally bickered back and forth at each other, making little put downs and demeaning comments. I feel a little immature now, and embarrassed that I lowered myself to that. I am going to abstain from arguing in that manner again. I am not normally like that, but naivety and ignorance frustrate me!

Don't forget that here we are invisible in a virtual world.....a form of intellectual voyeurism....it can be addictive too!.....but some words hold different meanings for others,like banana skins they trip us and make us slip.....and we all know what happens when we lose our balance and are about to fall!.....so nothing to feel odd about.

I usually apologize immediately if I've offended anyone and it's forgotten....but the best thing to do in fact is not answer the comments......silence is the best answer anyone can give.

It's so hard not to get sucked into arguments because there are so many disrespectful people out there. Be proud of yourself for not following there example!

yeah it is, and yes there are so many of them! And thanks, it really bugged me that I even responded to the petty comments.
