I Have a Confession
Actual quote from the part of my boyfriend's brain that's too small to make a difference in his thinking: "My name is Duane Fickle and I'm too proud of the way I write to ever admit I write badly."
He seems to be so convinced that this, "Not now. You're too late. I'll let you know when we are, and I promise with my life that I will."
Equates to this, "Not now. It's gonna have to be later tonight."
Here's the whole context: I waited until 5 pm to text him in case he was still sleeping at his place, and yes, he has been known to sleep late on occasion, and sent him this text finally, "We skyping."
This was what he replied with, "Not now. You're too late. I'll let you know when we are, and I promise with my life that I will."
What time was he referring to? What do you think he meant, first impression? I need consensus.
