Parental alienation …

Today is my son’s 18th birthday. My ex has alienated me. I haven’t spoken to my son in nearly 4 years. This used to be such a happy day for me because it was the day I became a mommy, but now it just hurts worse than words can describe. Does a mother ever stop mourning? (Mourning in this case the death of my mother-son relationship) … I’m so sad.

how has your ex alienated you?
You said mourning the death of your mother-son relationship but you will always be his mother and should never stop fighting for your child.
I know that is easy to say when I have no idea what you are going through but as a parent myself who had my kid taken from me multiple times by my ex ( his mother), I cant imagine mourning the end of a parent child relationship and its never too late to fight for it.

Again I know nothing on your situation, so just speaking in general I suppose

I’m so sorry to hear that

Why don't you have a relationship with him now? Most women have custody of their children if there's a separation.
