If you were raped and ended up pregnant, would you still be against abortion? I am not trying to make arguments but that is my only exception for getting an abortion.

As horrific as that would be and a situation I would not wish on anybody, it is 100% the fault of the rapist not the innocent life that is created as a result.

@Mindy1976: OK, I was raped, and there is no way in hell I'd have carried a child from the rape. Not only was I internally damaged (severely) from the rape, but that child would have been born into a horrible situation.

@Mindy1976: I don't think that baby would have a fair chance at life from the start...being the product of rape and all. That isn't a "normal" "family" situation

@iamnikki: in my situation it was my ex that raped me, I was stuck in an abusive situation and he was trying to get me pregnant again to trap me. @Mindy1976: yes, a child has a right to life, but so do I. I would not have been able to escape his clutches had I been impregnated by him. I'd have probably killed myself and then my surviving child would have had no mother and a potentially abusive father.
