It was probably still a better outcome than bearing that idiot's child.

Even more so, when it's supposed to be someone they love.
He'll probably get a slap on the wrist.
Courts will throw it out as a crime of passion, which makes 2nd degree legal in Texas.
But who knows?
If they can prove deliberation and intent, then hopefully it will put this guy away.
