People are going to have abortions. People are going to own guns. One does not necessarily lead to the other. Chances are anyone prone to killing a girlfriend would do it eventually regardless of the timing here. It is not causal. It's mental impairment.

@AbbySvenz Mass shootings are not accountabke for all deaths. I would hazard a guess not accountable for even most. I also suspect there are way more legal gun owners that never shoot a person than those that do. People kill. Some use guns to accomplish that. Outlawing guns woukd not stop killing. What's next then. Outlawing knives? We may need more in depth background checks, but no banning of any weapon will prevent its use.
